.....I have a new number you will need call to reach Mike's cell phone. If you call the old number you will hear a message giving you the new number. I did have the new number posted here in my blog but I realized that I may be giving it out to some people I do not want to have it. After about 12 years it is finally changing. I won't go into all the details of why I cannot keep my old cell number because then this blog would turn into a rant and I just don't have the energy for that. In a nut shell my old phone was owned by my company and the new phone is not and to get the number released to me from them would take an act of congress. My company is more than willing to give me the number, however the company that has the service now is to say the least incompetent, (hence the desire to switch services) and then couple that with the fact that they are losing business to a competitor means their desire to be helpful is about zero. So I bit the bullet and got a new number. OK, so it turned into rant anyway. Just be grateful I'm giving you the PG13 version. On the brighter side I got a cool new phone with unlimited texting and a keyboard for people with bad eye's and fat fingers. I will keep the old phone for a few day's until I'm sure everyone has the new number but please feel free to pass this number along to anybody that may not read this blog.
I guess that's it for now.

Yeah, we ditched Sprint/Nextel due to their stellar customer service as well. Who did you go with? We went over to AT&T. I was a bit hesitant about using a phone company based in Wal Mart stores (that's a whole other issue!) but so far so good.
Glad to hear from you again!
You want to make sure WE all get the number, so you post it on the internet on an open BLOG.
Right now some guy in Liberia is using your new number to call his cronies in Botswana; but I digress...
I approve of the PG version. We don't to hear your whining all the time (LOL). If I can find any body ho cares, I'll give them your new number.
Love.
I understand your frustration. When I worked at Brentwood, the City decided they couldn't pay for cell phones any more and all my guys had to change them over to personal phones. I know all the hoops you had to jump through, because as the secretary, I was the one doing the hoop jumping!!! I must say, however, that by the time I got to the third guy I knew all the answers before they asked the questions and had my ducks in a row. The real pain in the butt was that they wouldn't work with me on more than one account at a time. When I finished changing a phone over I had to hang up and call again.......THAT was special!! Anyway, I'll call your old phone today and get your new number. Thanks for the update. It was good to hear from you, even if it was just a "business"issue. Love ya!!
To answer Chris's question, I just switched back to sprint. I was with Nextel for years and years and had very little trouble. My company just switchet to something called Cbyond and the phone they gave me was horrible and the service was not so good. I decided to dump the company phone and get my own. Not that Sprint is any joy to deal with but, Michelle and Hannah have phones with them so I got on a plan with them and actually saved money.
Sprint and Nextel are the same company, but they are not able to play nicely together. I asked about switching to Nextel from Sprint because at the time I wanted PTT. Customer service (Customer DISservice?) acted like I wanted them to redesign the space shuttle for me. Ever since their merger their service has been garbage.
Sounds like your company switched to an internet phone company? Good luck with that too! Good blog, take care.
